Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and promptly using required reporting methods.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
