Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Recognition in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Complete required patrol, incident, and shift documentation in a timely manner while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $23.45 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time Mon 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM. Position Type: Full Time.
