Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Security Officer in Garfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas; report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sunday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
