Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Millington, TN, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will document observations, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor, driver, and delivery check-in procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or other unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
