Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Security Officer in Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, professional communication, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions with tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.57 per hour.
