About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reporting Specialist in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate concerns promptly. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting employees, visitors, and the public. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and help manage authorized entry into restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate concerns to designated personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.59 / Hour

Schedule

  • Tuesday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Thursday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Friday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
