Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Meadville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for maintenance, access control, and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, and/or potential hazards.
- Support site operations by completing routine reports, logging incidents, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
