Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Katonah, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an educational location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.
