Security Officer Full Time Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, guest-facing areas, corridors, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with directions and information, and support a professional atmosphere throughout the location.
- Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with security-related requests, observing for policy violations, and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
