Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution in Clifton, NJ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations through accurate reports and timely communication with designated personnel.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.96 / hour
