Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection

About the role
As a Full Time Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Henderson, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access to the facility and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
- Support the orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians around the property while maintaining awareness of loading and delivery operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
