Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection

About the Role

As a Full Time Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR/First Aid certification and a guard card or license are preferred.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.
