Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection

About the Role

As a Full Time Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and support access control operations while maintaining a visible presence and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications locations, including business areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.87 per hour.
