Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection Security Officer in Budd Lake, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while conducting routine patrols and responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, package or shipment-related irregularities, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry and exit points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
