Security Officer Full Time Entry Control

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location in Edmond, OK, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Your presence and communication skills will help deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to access-control incidents, delivery-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, visitors, employees, and site contacts while supporting orderly entry and exit processes.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Friday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Saturday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Sunday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
