Security Officer Full Time Entry Control

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a premier automotive location in Vance, AL. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations while providing outstanding customer service and supporting security-related procedures with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and shift observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
