Security Officer Full Time Entry Control

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, managing visitor activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Assist with the enforcement of site access requirements for employees, delivery personnel, and contractors while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
Requirements
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
