As a Security Officer Full Time Entrance Operations in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay

$19.10 per hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Thursday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
