About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Secure Entrance Operations in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, documenting visitor activity, and communicating clearly with employees and guests. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures and restricted-area requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Full Time. Day time shifts: Tuesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wednesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
