Security Officer Full Time Entry Operations

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government airport location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting visitors and employees with professional service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to airport visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, identification, authorizations, and/or visitor documentation in accordance with airport and government facility requirements.
- Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials at assigned access control locations, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
