Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Coordinator in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatcher at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming calls and activity, and dispatch personnel to support security-related needs. You will maintain accurate logs, provide exceptional customer service, and help support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls for service, maintenance concerns, alarms, and other incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor radio, telephone, camera, alarm, and access-control communications; maintain accurate activity logs, incident records, and dispatch reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications with onsite personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support regular and random patrol activity around buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations by communicating observations and directing responding personnel.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime shift, Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
