As a Full Time Security Officer Badge Reader Screening Monitor in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access‑control records.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer service while remaining visible to help deter incidents.
• Issue, manage, and deactivate access badges for employees and visitors.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and respond to alarm panel systems effectively.
• Use computers or tablets to navigate software applications, manage email, and utilize digital tools for communication and reporting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state and/or local laws prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
• Familiarity with alarm panel systems.
• Proficiency using computers or tablets.
