About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Breinigsville, PA. You will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a professional environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This role provides exceptional customer service, communicates clearly, and responds to security-related concerns while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery vehicle entry and exit activity.
• Control access to restricted areas, communicate entry requirements, and help deter unauthorized access in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, receiving and shipping areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
