About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping to maintain an organized, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, production personnel, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and assist with maintaining appropriate access to studio offices, production areas, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, guests, and team members while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred skills

• Alarm panel experience
• Possession of a guard card or license
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Access control or badge experience

Pay and schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
