Security Officer Full Time Alarm Monitor

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Monitor in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarm-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
