As a Security Officer Full Time - Alarm Access in Elgin, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
