Security Officer Full Time Alarm Response

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location in Jacksonville, FL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license.

Pay

$18.73 per hour.
