Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Monitoring

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Alarm Monitoring Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Hotels & Resorts. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and support guests, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with hotel management and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel guest areas, entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in a hospitality environment while documenting daily activities and incidents.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.95 per hour.

• Wednesday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Thursday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Friday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Saturday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Sunday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
