About the role
As a Full Time Patrol Alarm Systems Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge procedures, respond to alarms, use computer or tablet systems, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and maintaining awareness of visitor and employee activity.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.00 / hour

- Wednesday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
- Saturday: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
- Sunday: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
