About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitoring in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and information, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the facility.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
