GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Patrol Security Officer to build meaningful connections and provide exceptional customer service in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Patrol, you will engage with people across all shifts, focusing on customer service while maintaining security through regular foot patrols.

Schedule

  • 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Days to be determined

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned areas to maintain security and deter unauthorized activity
  • Perform security scans and inspections of buildings, entrances, exits, and perimeter grounds
  • Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations; report concerns immediately
  • Complete detailed daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation with accuracy
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations following established procedures
  • Verify doors, gates, windows, and restricted areas are properly secured during patrol rounds

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable walking long distances
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 1-2 years of security experience preferred
  • Customer service and/or concierge experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass an extensive screening process
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
  • Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a strong advantage
  • State license required if applicable (STATE LICENSE NUMBER PSC002179)
