Security Officer - Foot Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Loss Prevention Patrol in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and maintenance-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation using site-required systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
