Security Officer - Foot Patrol

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Officer - Foot Patrol with a focus on customer service for environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

Schedule

• Part time, 16 hours per week
• Saturday / Sunday, 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $24.90 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties: welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferably three to six months of security experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
