Security Officer Foot Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a controlled aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support access control, emergency communication, and other security-related duties as assigned, while maintaining professionalism in a dynamic industrial environment.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
