Security Officer Foot Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, control points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a regulated industrial location.
• Document observations, incidents, and maintenance or hazard-related concerns in written reports, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions and/or when directed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
