Pay Rate

$15.91 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, exits, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor flow, and assist with directing foot traffic during exhibitions, special events, and/or busy periods while maintaining professional interactions.
• Support the protection of artwork, exhibits, and other property by remaining alert to suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or environmental concerns, and communicating needed information to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
