Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, badge and access protocols, and other security-related policies appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, equipment concerns, and/or other unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points for vehicles, deliveries, and personnel, verify credentials when required, and document site activity in logs, reports, and/or electronic systems.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating clearly with site personnel and first responders, and helping with evacuation, accountability, and/or restricted-area control as directed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
