About the role
As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Destin, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed by site procedures, and communicate with residents and property contacts regarding security-related concerns.
- Support a professional residential environment by observing for property irregularities, assisting with routine requests, and following site-specific instructions for after-hours or emergency situations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
