About the role
As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will support access awareness, report observations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas; verify authorized access credentials; and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
