As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear and timely reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills.
• Ability to respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner.
• Knowledge of security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
