Security Officer Evening Campus Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Patrol in a dynamic academic healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related concerns, and support staff, students, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare and academic location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that need attention.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, student, and/or vendor activity in support of site rules and access control practices.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or shift activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
