Security Officer Entrance Access

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology‑focused location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Loss prevention experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Pay

$17.51 per hour

Schedule

• Daytime
• Friday: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
