Security Officer Entry Access

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location in Summerville, SC as a Security Officer Entry Access. You will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. This role involves providing outstanding customer service while assisting with badge access and security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly, communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and designated access points while following post orders and reporting maintenance, access, or operational issues.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.20 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
