Security Officer - Entrance Access

About the role

As a Security Officer - Entrance Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, utility spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain visitor and contractor logs, direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas of the location, and monitor access points, verifying credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Computer or tablet usage.
