Security Officer - Entry Access

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support access control, visitor processing, and routine reporting duties while following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

$16.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
