Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Badge Processing
About the Role
This part-time enhanced security officer position offers a fixed-shift commitment at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program. This role is designed for individuals seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel
- Monitor access activity and visitor movement in accordance with site requirements, supporting an orderly environment for personnel and operations
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to drug screen to extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred

Daytime Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Fixed-Shift Commitment: This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
