Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer position at Arizona Biltmore is a pivotal role within the hotel's safety and security team. As part of the LXR Hotel & Resort by Hilton, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the exceptional service and safety standards of a renowned property.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark, maintaining a professional and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure a safe working environment for guests and employees through adherence to safety procedures.
• Reduce crime opportunities through preventive patrols and visible security presence.
• Promote and maintain a peaceful environment on the premises.
• Aid or assist in providing medical attention to individuals in need.
• Respond to emergencies as outlined in the Emergency Service Procedures.
• Assure the security of guest and employee information in all forms of documentation.
• Aid in the development and presentation of security-related programs.
• Review and edit written records produced by Security Officers.
• Assist in other job classifications as directed by immediate superiors.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Two years of security or police experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• A degree in a safety, security, or hospitality-related field.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, preferred with instructor rating.
• High-quality written and oral communication skills.
