Security Officer Emergency Medical Driver

About the role

As an EMT Certified Security Officer and Emergency Medical Driver in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will be part of a pre-hospital emergency care medical team, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post requiring mobile patrols and a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal’s Driver Policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (environments and conditions may vary by client site).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy).
• EMT certification (required).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).

Pay

$24.40 / hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, overnight shifts:
• Monday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
