Security Officer Medical Center Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Medical Center Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization, and maintaining awareness of restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Full Time. Day shift rotations: Monday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Tuesday 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Thursday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Friday 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
