Security Officer Driver Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coverage in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and addressing suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by documenting daily activities, assisting with crowd and/or traffic flow, and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Day Time, Mon 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM
